The BAER (Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response)  test is the only accurate method of assessing the hearing of young and adult animals (dogs and cats). The test itself is quick and harmless and most patients do not require sedation. We can offer daily tests at our own clinic in Prime Veterinary Practice on 93 Newbold Road, Chesterfield, S41 7PS and occasionally can do home visits.
